Hi, I’m Jason and the first thing to let you know is that I really don’t like having my photo taken! I only agreed to it because I’m told that ‘people buy people’ and that it would be weird if I wasn’t on my own website.
What else can I tell you? I’ve been a trainer since 1998… long enough to see trends in fitness come and go.. and then come back again. I studied at University of Kent but learnt far more from living abroad for the best part of three years. Despite not being very sporty I’ve completed two overseas Marathons.
Notice that I’ve not given you many details .. what did he study? Where did he live abroad? Which Marathons did he run? Better to spark some curiosity and give us something to talk about in person. What’s the reason I’m still a personal trainer after 20-something years when most don’t make it past 6 months? I really really like people. Following the birth of my eldest 12 years ago I realised I needed to boast my physical condition & confidence.
Joining a gym + learning about proper nutrition allowed me to keep up with my daughter and push myself further than I thought possible – completing the 3 Peaks Challenge + the London Marathon.
Now, following the birth of my youngest daughter as a “geriatric” mum, I have qualified as a Personal Trainer to enable me to future proof myself and help others to do the same.
